Paper submission

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Students participating in the TDK Conference at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics in the 2026/2027/1 semester must submit their papers through the Microsoft CMT system.

Submission guide

Step 1: Access the Conference Portal

  1. Open your web browser and go to the CMT website: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SZEKGKTDK2026
  2. If you already have an account, click “Sign In” and enter your credentials.
  3. If you are new to CMT, click “Register” to create an account.

Step 2: Register for SZEKGKTDK2026

  1. Once logged in, navigate to the “All Conferences”
  2. In the search bar, type “SZEKGKTDK2026” and click “Search”.
  3. Click on the conference name (Széchenyi István Egyetem Tudományos Diákköri Konferencia) to access the main page.
  4. If required, click “Register as Author” to enable the submission option.
  5. Then SZEKGKTDK2026 will be easily accessible on the “My conferences”

Step 3: Create a New Submission

  1. After registering, click on “Author Console” in the top menu.
  2. Click “Create New Submission“.
  3. Fill in the required details:
    • Paper Title
    • Abstract: Please enter your 1300-2000 character abstract in the designated field. You do not need to upload your abstract as a separate document. Please submit a non-structured abstract (i.e., without section headings), but ensure that it clearly includes the following standard elements: background/context, research objective(s), methodology, key results or expected findings, and main conclusions or implications. Please do not include any references or citations in the abstract.
    • Authors (add co-authors if needed)
    • Submission Files: Please upload your TDK paper in PDF format. If you would like to upload supplementary document(s), you can upload it after submitting your full paper on the author console.
    • Additional questions (Neptun code, Supervisor’s name and email address)
  4. Click “Submit” to finalize your submission.

Step 4: Confirm Your Submission

    • After submission, you can view and edit your paper under “Author Console” before the deadline.
    • You should receive a confirmation email.
      Emails are sent from Microsoft CMT – never reply to these emails directly – no one reads them.

Troubleshooting- accessing the submission page

In some cases, after clicking the “Submission” button, the CMT system may redirect users to the general Microsoft CMT login page instead of directly opening the SZEKGKTDK2026 submission interface.

After logging in, please use the search function within the CMT system and search for Széchenyi István Egyetem Tudományos Diákköri Konferencia. Then select the conference from the results list to access the correct submission page.
